On May 14, 1934 when the first service was held at New Calvary Baptist Church, It marked the beginning of something very special for us. There were 234 original church members who decided not to relocate with Second Calvary Baptist Church. They banded together in prayer and fellowship and laid the successful ground work on which our church was built. New Calvary Baptist Church continues to be the kind of faith community where the life of Jesus is preached, taught and witnessed to by all of her communicants.
